Paros is the New Mykonos:
A Greek Island Paradise

Our Firenze correspondent visits and reports from this unique Greek Island.
From either of these spots, take a bus or rent a car and head north to Naoussa. This tiny fishing village still retains much of its original charm. You will have easy access by small fishing boats to visit the beaches of Monastiri and Colymbithres. Rent a scooter for two and head out to Golden Beach, known for its excellent windsurfing.
The photos above and to the left capture the views of the Greek Island of Paros.
One place not to miss is the French Bistro Le Sud. Found on a back street in Naoussa, this restaurant is run by two men who came for a vacation and chose to stay. The food is exceptional and the produce is both local and seasonal. While the menu changes regularly, try the lamb or fresh fish for a sure-fire treat. The dining area in the garden is just the place for a romantic summer evening. The restaurant is open from May to October.
Le Sud is located at 84400 Naoussa, Paros, Greece. Tel. +30 (22840) 51547. Click here for more information on activities in Paros.
