Barbecue, the Brooklyn Way, at Biscuit BBQ and Jazz Skylight Room

As the cold days set in, what better way to warm up than with slow, apple and mesquite smoked barbecue ribs? Head over to the cozy, laid back Biscuit BBQ and jazz room in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and satisfy your craving.

Start with hush puppies, grilled corn on the cob with cilantro, firecracker wings with bleu cheese sauce, or beer battered cornmeal crusted calamari. Follow your appetizers or salads with a pulled pork or chipotle chicken sandwich, blackened catfish, or rib platters – where the real fun begins.

Ribs are slow-smoked for up to seven hours and brushed with a homemade sauce that is rich in spices. Order the Memphis style baby-back ribs, Texas style beef ribs or other platters, and add such sides as sweet potato fries, grits and cheese, spicy collard greens and more.

Enjoy evening jazz in the Night and Day Skylight Room, and during the week, come back for a Southern style breakfast or lunch from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Biscuits and gravy, ham and cheese biscuits, steak and eggs, fluffy buttermilk pancakes and more await you!

Biscuit BBQ and Night and Day Performance Space are located at 230 Fifth Avenue (at President Street), Park Slope, Brooklyn. Click here for more details.
