Without a doubt, the economy is a-changing, but some things – like wearing a necktie to exude confidence and determination -- never change. American fashion designer Salvatore J. Cesarani understands this fact well as he just unveiled a new collection of fine, yet affordable neckwear for the entrepreneurial man with both a business and social timetable in his "Neckwear Agenda".
"From ancient warriors, to English nobility of the 19th century, to Americans after World War I – neckwear has always helped men to distinguish themselves and their status," says Cesarani. "Our agenda is to help the man make himself."
CESARANI's Neckwear Agenda features neckties in a variety of dynamic visual motifs -- regimental stripes in a vibrant spectrum of colors, a contemporary spin on a traditional plaid, persuasive British dots, and more. Whether presenting a new business concept to prospective investors or engaging in an after-work social affair, neckties from the Neckwear Agenda are the essential accessory for today’s visionary man and are key to helping him set himself apart from the pack.
Cesarani, also known as "New York’s Dean of Good Taste", is the perfect personal shopper to assist the modern man in selecting his neckwear. His mens wear designs have won several top industry awards and he also teaches at Parsons. Cesarani provides the aspirational man with a different necktie, as well as a dinner recommendation, for each day of the week. For example, Thursday's man "thinks outside the box" by wearing a Multibox Woven Plaid necktie for a business pitch to clients over lunch at Le Cirque 2000 in Midtown.
CESARANI neckwear is made from the finest European silks, but are completely cut and hand-finished in the United States of America. Each tie is cut at a precise 185 degree bias to enhance resilience and a straight drape from the knot. The points of the ties, called the pockets, are hand-inserted to preserve the shape of the tie. The tie measures 3 7/8" across the base points and it is 56" from end to end.
